Amanda Holden is reportedly set to become the primetime TV queen after she is said to have landed a role on a new series with Channel 4.

The 50 year old TV star already has roles in Britain’s Got Talent on ITV and I Can See Your Voice on BBC. And, following reports of her landing the new Channel 4 gig, she will be the first person to work across all the major UK channels.

Amanda, who recently stunned in a Princess Diana inspired look, is said to have refused to sign a golden handcuffs contract, which would confine her to working on one channel

A source close to her has told The Sun Online: “This is the first time Amanda has worked with Channel 4.

“It’s a top-secret brand new show format and will take Amanda back to her TV roots, having started out on shows like Kiss Me Kate, Hearts and Bones and Cutting It in the Nineties.

“Everyone wants a piece of Amanda right now.

“She’s become the golden girl of TV and radio over the last 12 months.

“Amanda has never wanted a handcuffs deal from any one TV channel and it’s paid off because she’s going to be the first person to work across all three major UK channels.”

The new show is said to be “top secret” but, Amanda teased a new project as she shared a gorgeous photo of herself wearing a white dress and nude heels on her Instagram grid.

She then wrote in the caption of the image, which she posted in April: “Starting to film a fun new project today” followed by the hashtag #BackToMyRoots.

Amanda, who was left gobsmacked after her husband’s secret video of her snoring was played live on air, also co-hosts the Heart Radio Breakfast show with Jamie Theakston on weekdays.

Amongst the star’s regular roles, she is also set to present the UK scores at the Eurovision Song Contest later this month.

The stunning blonde also launched her music career last year as she released her debut album, which was a best seller.

However, reports claim Amanda’s second album has been delayed due to her huge workload.

The insider added: “Amanda is also looking over offers from record labels for a second album but being in such high TV demand, she’ll probably have to put any plans on hold for a follow-up album until 2022.”

Amanda began her TV career in 2006, when she played Sarah Trevanian in three series of Wild At Heart. But, she had previously appeared on our screens as a contestant on Blind Date in 1991.

She became a judge on Britain’s Got Talent in 2006 and sits on the panel alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
