“7th Heaven” alum Beverley Mitchell announced her third pregnancy with a Clearblue ad, confusing fans who thought she’d already shared the news.
After multiple fans asked in the comment section if she had posted the news a couple weeks back and then deleted, she replied, “pregnancy brain. Didn’t mean to let it slip. Was waiting for my last dr appt to get the all clear.”
The happy news comes around two years after Mitchell, 39, suffered a miscarriage.
“We finally got our gold at the end of the rainbow!!!! We are pregnant with our rainbow baby!” she wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday, adding that she partnered with the pregnancy test company.
Mitchell, who already shares two children — 6-year-old Kenzie and 5-year-old Hutton — with husband Michael Cameron, continued, “The road hasn’t always been easy but it is so worth it! It has been far but scarier this time around but just got a great checkup so we are feeling lucky!”
The actress first shared news of her miscarriage on Thanksgiving in 2018, writing in a blog post, “A few months back Michael and I were thrilled, we had just found out we were pregnant. A few weeks later, our new dream of our growing family came crashing down; we had a miscarriage. This was a shock. Honestly, my first instinct was to say I was fine, and to be honest; I was trying to be. I thought I had to be, for my family, for myself. I had to jump on a plane and go to work being surrounded by babies and kids while I was still miscarrying. That was interesting.”
In the post, Mitchell thanked her husband and her girlfriends, including her former on-screen sister Jessica Biel, for helping her get through the difficult time.
“She was very supportive through everything and was always checking in on me,” she told People at the time. “She was one of the first people I called and I’m just very grateful for her friendship and just her being just a frickin’ badass, awesome person.”
