Former Love Island star Chris Hughes has been taken into accident and emergency in hospital ahead of his ITV hosting stint at Cheltenham Festival.

The 27 year old reality star, who is dating Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, shared a Boomerang video of himself sitting in a hospital waiting room on his Instagram story.

He then turns the camera up to a television placed in front of the rows of chairs in the emergency waiting room, which is playing a football match.

Sharing his frustration over his hospital visit, Chris, who recently said people want to "destroy" him, wrote on top of the footage “Just what wee need on the eve of Cheltenham,” followed by a fed up emoji. [sic]

Chris also added a moving GIF of an ambulance below the writing.

The reality star then shared a video of his friend looking fed up while waiting with him in hospital.

In the clip, the pal checks his watch and then scratches his head wearily as Chris asks in the background: “Was that the time?”

Since posting the clips on his Instagram, it was later confirmed that Chris had visited A&E after being in pain due to suspected kidney stones.
