Dan Walker, 44, has been sharing updates on his Strictly training progress with fans on social media, while he juggles early starts for BBC Breakfast and rehearsing for Saturday night’s show. Today, the BBC Breakfast star shared a snap of himself napping in the rehearsal space, as he confessed he had fallen asleep from exhaustion.
In the picture, the presenter can be seen lying on his back on the floor of the studio.
However, he jokingly blamed his professional partner, Nadiya, for pushing him to the extent that she ended up “breaking” him.
Referring to his pro partner, Dan wrote in the caption: “She actually broke me yesterday.
“I got down there to stretch and I was long gone.
“3am starts got me in the end.”
Dan also added the hashtag “#ShortsSocksSmartShoesForTheWin”.
In the candid photograph, the presenter can be seen wearing an unconventional outfit, consisting of a white T-shirt, shorts, socks and smart shoes.
Despite Dan’s dig at her, Nadiya heaped praise on her dancing partner in a sweet comment.
