Dancing On Ice star Linda Lusardi, 61, says she has coronavirus and is ‘extremely unwell’

Page 3 girl and Dancing On Ice star Linda Lusardi has taken to Twitter to say that she has coronavirus, also known as Covid-19, and is “extremely unwell”.

The 61 year old revealed her health news on Wednesday evening as she replied to a fan who asked her for a message for their grandfather.

She replied to the request: "Sorry Kerry. I am extremely ill with Corona at the moment."

Linda's followers were quick to send her positive messages, with one person writing: "Sending you all our love and hope you feel better soon love you very much."

Others wrote: "Bloody hell. Get well soon Linda” and: “Get well soon Linda take care and rest up.”

Linda’s news comes just two weeks after she enjoyed a night out with her daughter Lucy and her boyfriend, Peaky Blinders actor Jack Rowan.

Linda starred on Dancing on Ice in 2008 and finished in sixth place with professional dancer Dan Whiston.

She was also a regular on the Loose Women panel for a period of time.

While Linda has not confirmed if she has tested positive for coronavirus, Luther actor Idris Elba is in isolation with his wife after he tested positive.

Idris, 47, announced he had tested positive for the virus on Monday 16 March evening.

In a video, he announced: “This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus.

“Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic."

Idris added that he was tested for the illness after coming into contact with someone who later confirmed that had also tested positive.

“Look, this is serious,” he continued.

“Now is the time to start thinking about social distancing, washing your hands. Beyond that there are people out there who aren't showing symptoms, and that can easily spread it.

“So now is the time to be really vigilant about washing your hands, and keeping your distance.”

He isn't the only celebrity to have contracted COVID-19 as actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson also announced that they tested positive for the virus, while Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid is in self-isolation.
