Kelvin Fletcher cashes in on Strictly win as actor bags £100k panto role

Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher has cashed in on his triumph and bagged himself a £100,000 role in a pantomime.

The 36-year-old, who just weeks ago splashed out on a £150,000 Bentley, will take centre stage in as Prince Charming in Sleeping Beauty later this year.

The former Emmerdale star will take on the role at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre from December 4, 2020 to January 3, 2021.

He’ll be joined by CBBC presenter Sam Nixon, who takes the role of Jangles.

Kelvin is best known for playing Andy Sugden in Emmerdale – a role he played for more than 20 years – but recently made a name for himself as a dancing sensation when he took the Strictly crown earlier this year.

But his dancing debut didn’t come without controversy after he was snapped enjoying a 3am nightcap with his Strictly dance partner Oti Mabuse .

Just hours after the scandalous photos emerged, a source said Kelvin's wife and mother of his children Liz Marsland unfriended him on Instagram .

Liz has been home with their children Marnie, three and Milo, one, while Kelvin has been dancing on the Strictly tour.

She was reportedly upset after seeing photos of him drinking late until 3am with Oti.

Former Emmerdale actor Kelvin has recently been spending a lot of time away from his family for the Strictly Live Tour while Oti has been working on BBC contest The Greatest Dancer.

The mother-of-two has yet to refollow her hubby or his Strictly partner, Oti, 29, despite insisting there is 'no drama' after she was spotted without her wedding ring on her finger.

Pictures later came out of Liz kissing her husband at a train station and she insisted she had only removed her ring so she could fake tan.

Liz appeared to brush off rumours of any issues as she broke her silence on Instagram this week and insisted there was 'no drama' after she stepped out without her wedding ring.

Kelvin and Oti insisted throughout that they are nothing more than good friends.
