Montana Brown has revealed the heartbreaking final text message her pal Mike Thalassitis sent before his tragic and untimely death.
The 26 year old was found dead in Essex in March 2019, with an inquest later ruling his death as suicide, with cocaine and alcohol found in his body.
His Love Island co-star Montana, 25, has now told how one of Mike's friends announced he had received a final text from the reality star just hours before his death.
She said: "He sent his friend a message saying, 'Mate, I don't think I'm going to see you any more. I don't think I'm going to see you ever again'."
Montana continued to the Take Flight podcast: "And his friend did not understand – and why would you? It's not your everyday thing that someone messages you something like that."
The beauty also told how she had a final phone call with Mike in his final days, which she now believes was him saying goodbye to her after she had gifted him a copy of self-help book The Magic.
She continued: "A few days before he died… he said something like, 'I'm really really grateful that you introduced me to this book, I just really appreciate you and, like, you've really helped me kind of get out of this like headspace and I just can't thank you enough and I love you to bits'.
"On reflection, I do think that was him saying goodbye, because I was on the phone for just under an hour and a lot of it kind of revolved around him being grateful and him saying thank you. In hindsight it definitely was him saying goodbye.
"I think that there were so many signs to the lead up of him passing away… huge signs that potentially people did not look into because I don't think men are that aware of mental health.
"He wanted to feel numb because he just didn't want to be thinking all of the awful things he was thinking and be left alone with his own mind."

Meanwhile, Andy explained how his son never revealed his struggles with depression.
He explained: "We just didn't see it coming. I felt utter disbelief.
"He came to the house the Thursday before and said he was fine. He said, 'I'll see you Sunday', and that was it."
