Lily James and married Dominic West have been spotted appearing to kiss while looking close during a trip in Rome.
They are set to star opposite each other in the screen adaption of The Pursuit Of Love, and looked very cosy as they took in the sights of Italy.
At one point the Wire actor, who is currently married to Catherine FitzGerald, appeared to lean in to kiss the 31-year-old’s neck while at lunch.
In pictures obtained by MailOnline, they didn’t seem fussed about who saw them, cuddling up to one another during a touchy-feely meal.
They also got close as they enjoyed a scooter ride around the city.
An insider told the publication that 50-year-old Dominic and the Downton Abbey star ‘spent two nights in a suite’ at the swanky Hotel De La Ville.
The site states that they only left the hotel for a few hours.
This may come as a shock as the Affair actor is believed to be in a long-term relationship with landscaper Catherine, with the couple tying the knot in 2010.
The pair share four children, Dora, Senan, Francis and Christabel together, and have not publicly announced a split.
He also shares eldest daughter Martha with ex-girlfriend Polly Astor.
Lily recently split from Doctor Who star Matt Smith, and was previously linked to Captain America actor Chris Evans.
While their relationship remains unclear, Lily and Dominic have worked together on The Pursuit Of Love, a BBC adaptation of Nancy Mitford’s novel of the same name.
Filming for the three-part series began in the UK in July, with Emily Beecham and Andrew Scott among the A-List cast.
The show focuses on the escapades between Linda Radlett (Lily) and best pal Fanny Logan (Emily), and takes place between World War I and World War II.
Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Lily and Dominic for a comment.
