Even though several concerts are being postponed due to coronavirus fears, Reading & Leeds has assured fans that the 2020 festival is going ahead as planned.
“At this time, Reading/Leeds Festival is going ahead as planned,” the festival organizers said in a statement.
“Please be assured that the safety and health of all staff and visitors is our main priority and we are implementing recommendations and instructions appropriately,” they added.
Reading & Leeds said they are closely monitoring official guidance from the World Health Organization, Public Health England, the U.K. Government, local public health authorities and are working with event promoters and organizers as information evolves.
The U.K.-based music fest featuring Rage Against The Machine, Stormzy and Liam Gallagher is set to be held during August 28-30.
