Trinny Woodall has revealed her dramatic hair loss after she contracted coronavirus three months ago.

The 57 year old TV fashion expert pulled out a chunk of her own hair and stored it amongst other strands in a jar as she discussed how the hair loss is a result of stress and her Covid-19 battle.

Fashion expert Trinny shared the 24 minute-long video on her Instagram page and revealed she is now taking supplements and seeking advice from a trichologist, which is an expert who specialises in the hair and scalp.

Speaking in the candid video, Trinny said: “I thought we would have a little Sunday evening chat and I've had a lovely day with Lyla but I want to chat about hair loss because since I did the Lives on Facebook, and I did two Lives.

“I did a Live with Greg Williams about hair transplants and the following week I did a really nice Live with Shabir at Victoria Health and with Josh Wood.

“And this was pre-my hair starting to fall out, so it's very fortuitous, it's very odd and not like tempting fate, the opposite of that really.”

Trinny, who shared her horror over finding a large clump of hair in the shower recently, continued to explain that her hair began to fall out shortly after the discussions she had mentioned with hair experts.

“About a week after I did both those Lives, I started to notice that whenever I did that…” she said as she ran her hand through her hair and pulled out a clump of her brunette locks.

She went on to explain: “I started to get – I don't know if you can see here how much hair I'm getting each time I do that but like this. I’m just collecting my hair at the moment.”

Trinny then went on to show a container filled with hair and explained she’s using it to keep track of her hair loss.

Mum-of-one Trinny said: “There will probably be more hair in this then there is on my head soon.

“I’m being sarcastic because I don't want to get stressed by it but I do want to have an action plan and I want to chat to you about it and I just thought, what always eases my mind is sharing.”
