Every parent dreads that moment they have to sit their young child down and explain where babies come from.
But one mum had to detail more than she needed to when her young son discovered a children’s book which showed how babies are made in the most graphic way.
Taking to Facebook, the parent shared what she had come across in the hope other mums could relate to her shock.
Since discovering its contents online, other parents were equally horrified by how detailed the children’s book is.
Titled “Mummy Laid an Egg!” started off like any other children’s tale, but soon explained girls were made with “sugar and spice and all things nice”.
The mum-of-three thought it was “innocent” at this point but then the cheeky book took a different turn.

She reached page six and that’s when “daddy’s friendly looking seed pods” coupled with a picture of “daddy’s” bits were introduced.
Then daddy’s “seed pods” could be seen trying to reach “mummy’s tummy” through which was described as “mummy’s little hole”.
The story became more graphic with photos showing “aerial acrobatics, fetish clown outfits and space hoppers”.
Feeling shocked and amused, the mum posted photos of the book along with the situation which left her with “4 billion questions” she hadn’t planned answering.

Since she shared the post, it secured around 50,000 likes and 70,000 comments from Facebook users who were baffled and amused by the book.
One said: “OMG… there better be a warning in the book somewhere. That’s hilarious!"
Another commented: “Usually I find myself being super quick with my witty responses, but I've been sitting here for a few minutes and I have nothing."
