Former star ofThe Only Way is Essex Frankie Sims is the latest celebrity to get a new lighter hair colour for summer, as she ditches her long black waves.
Frankie, who moved to LA at the start of the year with sisters Chloe and Demi, paid a visit to theBank of Hair and Beautysalon in Essex during a trip back home, and got a stunning summery hair makeover from her go-to hairstylistJoel Maguirewho shared a snap of the reality star on his Instagram, writing: “Goodbye black hair hello to new hair for@frankiesims”.
Previously, Frankie had been embracing a much darker jet black shade with ashy brunette highlights, however it seems she’s ready for a switch up, just in time for summer.
Sharing a series of snaps of her new hair on herInstagram, Frankie wrote: “Feel like the old me again”, as she showed off what we're dubbing a Caramel Frappucino colour, complete with lightened front sections for a sunkissed glow.
Frankie’s new colour is the perfect transitional colour for summer for anyone who doesn’t want to go blonde, but still wants a brighter, fresher colour in time for the sunnier days.
The former TOWIE star’s new colour features darker, cooler toned roots and top sections, before gradually lightening towards the ends in a soft balayage in a much warmer shade.
With lighter caramel-coloured highlights scattered throughout, Frankie’s hair also has brighter sections at the front in a light bronde colour – a mixture of blonde and brunette – that also reach underneath her hair at the front to give it plenty of depth and dimension.
Her new hair is styled into loose curls that shows off the lighter sections and helps to blend them with her darker chocolate brown colour, and she added extra length and volume with a fresh set of tape hair extensions from Blend Hair Extensions, which were also fitted and coloured by Joel.
Frankie’s followers were huge fans of her new hair transformation, and flooded her Instagram comments with compliments, with one writing: “Stunning, you look amazing Frankie”, whilst another wrote: “You look so fresh!!” with a series of heart-eyed emojis.
Sister Chloe also recently got a major hair makeover from Joel, whoswapped her platinum locksfor a dramatic chocolate brown transformation. We wonder if Demi is going to be next?
