They are also packed into what look like giant pizza boxes.
Promo images show the product tags hanging from the tables, which say that they are ‘perfect for small groups of teenagers and adults to sit around and enjoy the delicious Pizza Hut x Ikea pizza, ‘ideal for when you want to order Pizza Hut and watch movies,’ and ‘easy to assemble and clean after you smear delicious tomato sauce on it.’
‘This campaign shows the playful side of Pizza Hut, and that our credentials can move beyond the kitchen into new and interesting collaborations with other brands,’ said Wendy Leung, marketing director for Pizza Hut Hong Kong, according to High Snobiety.
‘We’ve been absolutely thrilled to see the launch the new pizza hut x IKEA pizza with a fun, cheeky campaign that has proven to be quite popular with the fans already on the first day!’ John Koay, executive creative director at Ogilvy Hong Kong, added to Design Boom.
What’s more, Pizza Hut is also selling a limited-edition pizza that’s topped with Ika’s Swedish meatballs.
‘This is a great pizza, and this campaign really shows how collaborations can really benefit the fans – not just the brands,’ Koay added.
