After a long wait,Love Islandis back on screens on 6 June with a new group of singletons hoping to find love.
With theline-up being revealed, the first singleton of the series is brunette beauty Paige Thorne.
Paige, 24, is a paramedic and hails from Swansea originally and explains why she chose to go on the dating show.
“In Swansea there is just no-one I can find, I’ve tried and there’s just nobody there anymore. I need to break out and broaden my horizons and Love Island just brings everyone together for me.”
She added: “I haven't got to go out and I haven’t got to swipe. So, hopefully they can just come to me now!”
The stunner revealed that her past relationship prompted her to take a break from dating.
“I came out of a relationship and I was just so done with guys so was like, ‘Right, that's it. I’m going to focus on me’.”
However, she decided to join Love Island after realising that she is looking to find that spark with someone special.
“Then I was like, ‘Ok, I’m bored now, I’m lonely and I miss love and the connection and everything else’. I’ve been on a few dates but I just haven’t clicked with anyone.”
Paige describes herself as a good cook and “quite mumsy” and explains how she think she would impress celebrity chefs with her signature dish.
She said: “I am a good cook and I’m quite mumsy so I’ll look after anyone that needs looking after. If I had to pick a signature dish, it would probably be a Sunday dinner.
“My roasties are up there, I think Gordon Ramsay would be impressed – I think he would be like ‘9/10 or 10/10’.”
The paramedic is one to watch on the series and describes herself as having “positive energy” or if that fails, “lots of bubbly energy”.
Paige is already an Instagram sensation and often posts snaps from her nights out though we’re sure her following will increase once the show starts.
The lineup comes as Love Island announced their comeback date on Twitter earlier this month.
The post read: "Here's your first hot date of the summer #LoveIsland is back Monday 6th June on @itv2 and @itvhub!"
Fans were quick to share their excitement as one wrote: "I really can't wait so so happy right now the Summer of love 2022 or maybe not lolzzzzzzxxxx we shall see buzzing".
Another added: "Roll on the summer of love, falling out and making up, recouplings and not forgetting…Casa Amor!"
This series is set to take place in a brand new villa in Mallorca, which boasts a giant, glistening swimming pool, and a firepit area, where those all-important recouplings will take place.
Love Island returns to ITV2 and ITV Hub on Monday 6 June at 9pm.
