Hairbrushes

Women use their hairbrushes everyday (or maybe every other in lockdown), but when was the last time you cleaned yours? Luckily the cleaning task won’t take you very long at all. Mrs Hinch, who’s name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, demonstrated first removing any hair with a comb. The next step is to add one tablespoon of washing up liquid and one tablespoon of white vinegar to a sink full of warm water, and emerge your brush. You can then leave the room and let them soak. “This will remove any bacteria and germs clogged in your brushes!”, the 30 year old explained.

Toothbrushes

Another task that involves minimal effort, but is often neglected is cleaning toothbrushes. If you don’t want to be constantly buying new toothbrushes and toothbrush heads, then instead rejuvenate them by filling of glass with water, putting in one Milton tablet and finally “leave them to do their thing.”

Light switches/door handles

The cleanfluencer describes these as “areas we touch everyday and sometimes forget to clean”. Mrs Hinch simply sprayed a cloth with Dettol disinfectant spray and wiped down the light switches and door handles around her home.

Steering wheel

Once again, this is an area that we use regularly so Mrs Hinch applies the same method as the light switches and door handles to ensure it’s up to her standard. Just because it's outside of the house, doesn't mean it should be forgotten!

Handbag straps

In the same fashion as the previous two places, she opted for simple technique of wiping them down with a cloth and spray so they were fresh ready for her next shopping trip to Home Bargains.
