An 81-year-old former vicar and his Romanian toyboy husband have revealed they are now living together again in Bucharest after having an “open relationship” for a year.
Philip Clements, a retired Church of England vicar, and 27-year-old Florian Marin tied the knot back in 2017 in Kent after meeting on dating website Gaydar.
But the retired vicar soon moved back to the UK, despite selling his home to live in the Romanian capital, because the couple developed a rift over Florian’s late night clubbing.
Now Philip says he’s happy for Florian to visit gay clubs on weekends and understands it's important to let him spend time with people his own age.

The ex-vicar told The Sun : “I know when he’s busy not to disturb him and give him space. He goes to the gay club in Bucharest once a week and I’m fine with that.
“He must have space to be with younger people, it’s very important when there’s this big age difference We’ve both learn a lot.”
Philip is using his church and teaching pension to help pay for their living expenses in their two-bedroom home in Romania.
He continued: “We do have to watch the money but Romania is cheaper than in England so the money goes further.
“We do have enough to live on and enough to go to the cinema and out for a meal occasionally.”

Philip said the age-gap couple are looking forward to celebrating their third wedding anniversary with a home-cooked dinner.
Back in 2018, the retired vicar revealed how he let his much younger husband sleep around in an interview.
He said: “We have agreed as part of our agreement as an open relationship, if we have a serious relationship, we will tell each other.
“I would be a little bit jealous I have to admit. That other chap, who doesn’t exist at the moment, is getting more of what I should be enjoying.”
