It’s a big week for a lot of residents in Coronation Street, as Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) makes a big decision, but then finds herself worrying about Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew), while Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) struggles to cope with the quads and ends up making a devastating mistake.
Meanwhile, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) leaves Oliver in Summer Spellman’s care, while David Platt’s (Jack P Shepherd) behaviour leaves Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) concerned.
Monday 6 April
Yasmeentries to get past Geoff and she tells Alya she is coming to the wedding. Geoffimplies he is suicidal and as Yasmeen heads back with Geoff – and finds thereis blood everywhere with no sign of him. Alya is furious and knows Geoff isplaying games. Yasmeen calls the police about Geoff.
Chesneyarrives home as Bernie moves out while Gemma insists everything is fine. Emmawatches as Seb helps Alina carry out coffees to the factory. In the factory,Michael waits to be called and talks to Alina – and she warms to him.
Davidheads out for a walk but he is secretive with Gail.
Wednesday 8 April
Gemmaboards a bus with the quads and hurries off, leaving the babies behind. Chesneysprints after the bus and rescues the babies. Chesney calls Bernie as heworries about Gemma’s state of mind.
Emmatakes Eccles and Rovers for a walk. Dev tells Emma that Eccles needs a vet andit is confirmed that she has an inoperable tumour. The Barlows return todiscover Eccles is dead. Yasmeen meets up with the police and they tell herabout his criminal past.
Rick’sdaughter Kelly approaches Alya and Amy and says that she has changed schoolsand Gary does some digging.
Friday 10 April
Leanneleaves Oliver with Steve for the day and Emma returns to tell Seb she is movingback in and they row. Steve heads to sort the situation, leaving Summer to mindOliver. But when he returns, he finds Oliver fitting.
Gemmastorms out and Rita approaches her – Gemma admits she is consumed with darkthoughts. Gemma tells Chesney she no longer feels in control and he takes herto the medical centre.
WhenNorris lets slip to Ken that Charles slated Eccles, Ken takes action. Ninareveals that she is off to a zero carbon protest, Toyah is interested. Leannebreaks the news to Imran that they have all been arrested.
