Carol Vorderman dazzles fans as curves take centre stage in figure-hugging dress

Carol Vorderman has always shown fans that she has both brains and beauty, but she put it to the test on the celebrity version of Beat The Chasers.

The 61-year-old took on the masterminds during Tuesday’s ITV special as she was quizzed to win money for her chosen charity.

And the Countdown star made sure to do it in style as she showcased her jaw-dropping hourglass figure as she squeezed her curves into a red lace midi dress for the show.

In the first look at the show, the TV presenter teamed the red dress with a pair of nude heels and styled her brunette locks into bouncy curls.

The glamorous star completed the look with a full face of makeup including lashings of black mascara and a swipe of nude lip gloss.

She was joined by host Bradley Walsh who warned the pro quizzers that her IQ is “as high if not higher” than those on the panel.

The former Coronation Street star made sure to dress to impress as he looked dashing in a blue suit which he paired with a colourful pocket square as he read out the questions.

Carol took part in the show alongside Joel Dommet, Adrian Chiles, Samia Longchambon and Simon Weston.

The TV star will face down all six chasers including Anne Hegarty, Jenny Ryan, Paul Sinha, Shaun Wallace, Darragh Ennis and Mark Labbett.

But it’s fair to say the TV presenter stole the limelight as she wowed viewers with her impressive knowledge and incredible beauty.

It comes after the starlet revealed how she thinks she had Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) due to a lack of exposure to the sun.

She took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday as she explained how she felt like a “new woman” after her trip to Wales.

The NHS defines SAD as a type of depression that comes and goes in a seasonal pattern.

Symptoms of SAD include a persistent low mood, loss of pleasure in everyday activities and feeling lethargic and sleepy during the day.

She told her loyal legion of followers: “Hope you’re well my lovelies. I feel like a new woman.

“I think I was suffering from seasonal affect disorder, you know SAD, because of lack of light because it never got light during December.

“Anyway, a few days in Wales and boom! She’s back!”
