EastEnders spoilers hint Ruby Allen and Zack Hudson are set for steamy affair

EastEnders' Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) might be all cosied up with Martin Fowler (James Bye) right now – but that could all be set to change in next week's episodes.

The hate-to-love soap baddie could be set for a steamy affair with Walford newbie Zack Hudson (James Farrar) as her eyes go wandering.

On Monday, Zack brings another girl back to the flat, but Sharon (Letitia Dean) makes it clear that he needs to stop and get a job instead.

Martin returns home, and Sharon tells him that she has sent Zack to Ruby’s in the hope of him getting a job at the club, but when Martin arrives he’s not impressed to find Zack flirting with his wife.

Sharon is busy pouring over ideas for launching her new gym when Ruby, Martin and youngster Lily (Lillia Turner) walk past.

Zack flirtatiously asks if they’ll be allowed to promote the gym at Ruby’s club, while Martin looks on – clearly annoyed by the risky move.

Later, in the club, Sharon and Ruby swap details for the launch event while Zack flirts with Ruby. But, after seeing the potential romance unfold, Lily asks Ruby if she fancies Zack.

An alarmed Ruby warns Lily to stay out of her business.

But back at home, Lily gets her own back by telling Martin that while he was away, Ruby spent lots of time with Zack – and that he even spent the night – leaving Martin reeling.

Thursday’s episode sees even more trouble for the lovebirds, as Sharon, Ruby and Zack are chatting about the launch of the new gym when Martin storms in.

And on Friday, Sharon tells an incredulous Zack that he must apologise to Martin for causing such a stir.

Elsewhere in soapland, Mick (Danny Dyer) is busy writing his victim impact statement over at the Queen Vic when Nancy (Maddy Hill) shows up. She pretends she’s enjoying living with Sharon until she realises her mum isn’t present.

She admits the truth to her dad, that her new housing situation is awful, but she still doesn’t want to return home.

Nancy encourages Mick to finish his statement and read it in court himself. Spurred on by his daughter, Mick does just that – blissfully unaware that Katy is standing outside the pub.

On Tuesday, Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) is shocked to see Katy (Simone Labhib) at Ruby’s club and quickly leaves, but when she arrives at The Vic, she finds Mick’s victim impact statement on the table.
