Good Morning Britain bosses sent into panic as he Lee Mack swears live on show

Funny man Lee Mack sent Good Morning Britain producers into panic today after he accidentally swore live on ITV.

The comedian appeared on the hit breakfast show to talk about Soccer Aid 2020 – a celebrity football match which takes place every year to raise money for charity.

During his stint on the show, Kate reminded Lee how Ben started off in the industry as a his runner.

Laughing, Lee pretended not to remember Ben as he kicked off his TV career.

However, luckily for GMB viewers bosses of the show had dug out some old footage which sees Lee presenting a comedy skit while Ben pretends to be a member of the audience excitedly behind him.

Looking fresh-faced, Ben waves and beams as he basked in the artificial camera light.

As the clip played, Ben, Kate and Lee could be heard gossiping about the clip.

Suddenly, Lee appeared to swear as ITV producers scrambled to bleep out the mystery word.

As the camera cut back to the live studio, a sheepish lee exclaimed: "I think you beeped that.

"I think you beeped that bit of language in the morning?"

Ben replied: "Just a little bit, you can't get that… it as my first decent TV job."

Never one to miss a gag, Lee replied: "What were the other jobs that weren't decent.

"You made me coffee and look at you now."

Teasing Ben, Lee turned to Kate: "Yeah, he was my runner, I would like to pretend he was a brilliant coffee maker but you have been his aura – completely forgettable.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
