Killing Eve cast – who stars in season 3?

KILLING Eve will be returning to our screens for a third season but time will tell what goes down in the show.

And while we wait to find out how the story unfolds, here's a look at the characters who fans expect to be making a return.

Who is in the Killing Eve season 3 cast?

A few people got bumped off in season two, so here's who is likely to be back for season three:

Jodie Comer as Villanelle

The sassy assassin will be back – as it wouldn't be the same without her.

Jodie Comer, 26, was born in Liverpool and landed her first acting job in a BBC Radio 4 play after winning first place at a local drama festival.

The actress is known for playing Chloe Gemell in My Mad Fat Diary and Ivy Moxam in the BBC Three series Thirteen.

In 2020 she's set to star in an adaptation of Death on the Nile alongside Kenneth Branagh.

Comer won the gong for Leading Actress at the TV Baftas.

Sandra Oh as Eve Polastri

At the end of season two Eve is left for dead so will she survive? Our guess is that she will.

Sandra Oh, 48, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Cristina Yang on Grey's Anatomy from 2005 to 2014.

The role won her a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

She's also starred in a number of feature films including The Princess Diaries (2001), Blindness (2008) and Catfight (2016).

Fiona Shaw as Carolyn Martens

Fiona Shaw, 61, plays MI6 operative Carolyn Martens in Killing Eve, who shows no signs of getting killed off.

The Irish actress is best known for starring as Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter films.

She also played palm reader Marnie Stonebrook in the vampire series True Blood and has appeared in an array of stage productions.

Other cast:

Other characters that are also likely to return are Eve's sidekick and computer wiz Kenny Stowton (Sean Delaney), Eve's husband Niko Polastri (Owen McDonnell) and of course series favourite Konstantin, played by Kim Bodnia.

Is there a trailer for Killing Eve season three?

A teaser clip was released on Instagram to announce that the hit series will be back on BBC America on April 26.

The lead actresses wore glamorous red gowns as they transformed into their characters Villanelle and Eve Polastri.

It's no coincidence that a blood red colour was chosen for the pair, considering the gory final episode of series two, as well as the fact Villanelle ends up shooting Eve in the final moments.

As well as posing together, Jodie also posed with a small knife while wearing a red suit.
