Before the pair took to the dancefloor, Rose announced that this would be the final time the duo dance together on Strictly Come Dancing.

When they took to the dancefloor together, the pair put on a performance to remember when they waltzed around the studio together.

Arm in arm, the much-loved winners looked right at home to be in each other's embrace and dancing with one another once more.

Fans of the dancing duo were quick to gush over the perfect pairing, with many getting tearful over the reunion.

"Ah Rose and Gio making me cry once again," penned one viewer.

"Rose and Giovanni’s partnership was one of the best #Strictly had ever seen by a mile, and last years series was the best EVER. Lovely to see them again one last time," gushed a second.

While a third said: "I wish Rose + Giovanni were on every year, they were absolutely fantastic last year – it was so special to watch them. To see them dance one last time tonight is fab."

Rose and Giovanni were paired together in the 2021 series of the popular BBC One dancing competition.

With their performance of Symphony, the couple incorporated a silent segment of dancing to show viewers how it feels to be deaf.

The couple fast became fan favourites, with many moved by the couple and what they stood for.

Giovanni and Rose then went on to win, with the pair lifting the infamous glitterball trophy.

Rose's final appearance on Strictly comes as the actress leaves her role as Frankie in EastEnders.

We cannot wait to see what Rose gets up to next. And after such success with Strictly and EastEnders – we are sure it will be incredible!
