Spoilers: Richard Blackwood makes Hollyoaks debut as Felix Westwood arrives

The Deveraux clan were left in complete and utter shock during tonight’s episode of Hollyoaks, as Walter’s (Trevor A Toussaint) dinner party culminated with the arrival of one Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) — who made his presence felt almost immediately.

Grace Black (Tamara Wall) was the first to come face-to-face with Felix, as the newcomer took her out to dinner to apologise for ruining her stylish boots.

Afterwards, he set off to do what he came to do — and that was to meet up with old flame Martine (Kelle Bryan).

Meanwhile, Walter attempted to make amends for the abhorrent way he treated Mitchell (Imran Adams), and therefore he invited both he and Scott (Ross Adams) round for tea.

Matters became complicated when Walter revealed he’d also invited Toby (Bobby Gordon) and Celeste (Andrea Ali) — the latter of whom wasted little time in causing trouble between Walter and Mitchell, before sitting back to watch the drama unfold.

As Mitchell revealed he’d no longer set foot in his granddad’s house due to his homophobic outlook, he began packing, before making a beeline for the door.

However, as he prepared to leave, he came face-to-face with Felix in the doorway, and — as he entered — a shocked Martine introduced him to everyone, before introducing Felix to his children.

What will happen next?

Will Felix be able to build a relationship with Mitchell?

Or with Toby and Celeste, for that matter?

Hollyoaks continues Monday 30 March at 7pm on E4
