THE One Show's Matt Baker is working from home for two weeks as he self-isolates after a family member gets a cough.
As the show opened tonight, presenter Alex Jones was all alone as she told viewers: "The sofa is empty. No Matt Baker.

"Like so many of you today he's working from home."
She then went via videolink to Matt's home where he was sat on his own sofa with his pet dog.
Looking in good spirits, Matt explained: "There's four of us here in this household and this afternoon and one of us has a cough so we're following the Prime Minister's guidelines."
He continued to present the rest of the show with Alex from his house.
One viewer said: "Matt Baker presenting #TheOneShow from his sofa with a dog on his lap is the loveliest portent of societal apocalypse we could have hoped for."
Another added: "#TheOneShow with Matt Baker presenting from home with no studio audience is apocalyptic telly…"
Someone else said: "The best part of Matt Baker presenting @BBCTheOneShow from home is how desperately Bob the dog is trying to lick any part of him!"
Millions of Brits are being sent home from work as firms try to cut the spread of coronavirus.
Boris Johnson said that people should stay at home for seven days if they have a mild cough or temperature.
They should self-isolate for 14 days if someone in their household is showing symptoms.
