Homeless man fighting for his life in hospital after two rough sleepers attacked in central London – The Sun

A HOMELESS man is fighting for his life after two rough sleepers were attacked in central London.

The 44-year-old was attacked by two men in Victoria Street, Westminster around 4.30am on Thursday and remains in a critical condition in hospital.

The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.

Two hours later another homeless man, 32, was attacked outside Waterloo Station, South London, and suffered head injuries, but his condition is stable.

CCTV showed one of the men in the first attack was in the area of the second assault, around two hours after the Westminster attack.

A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with the assault at Waterloo.

Detectives have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the attack on Victoria Street.

He is described as white, and was wearing a dark blue jacket, blue trousers and white trainers.
